Android 4.4 has be unveil and dubbed Kit Kat which is following the android alphabetical and sweet theme beginning with Cupcake 1.5, Donut 1.6, Éclairs 2.0, Froyo 2.2, Gingerbread 2.3, Honeycomb 3.0, Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0, Jelly Bean4.1 and now kit Kat 4.4. The android 4.4 details have not yet been released but there is competition for customers who can enter to win Nexus 7 Tablet and Google store points.

Mathon has teamed up with RollTech to release web browsers for Android and iOS. Roll Tech is part of MediaTek services that’s the largest Global supplier of chipsets for android smartphone and tablet. The web browser will be preloaded onto 100 million smartphone by 2014.

Android 3.3 update will be coming to the Samsung Galaxy 3 and Galaxy 4 this October. This has caused the Samsung Galaxy 3 to skip the 4.2.2 updates moving straight to 4.3. We still don’t know if Samsung will update the Galaxy s3 to android KitKat 4.4 when it’s released.
8. Google Glass gets own app store in 2014
Google has confirmed that the Google Glass will be getting its own app store. The company has said that the store won’t be available until 2014 when the Google Glass becomes readily accessible to the general public.
9. Barnes and Noble Nook HD selling off
Barnes and Noble has cut down the price of its Nook HD & HD+ ebook-tablet hybrid to sell off the last remaining stock in the UK. The eBook-tablets are now available at £79 for Nook HD, 8GB version and £99 for the 16GB version. The Nook HD+ was earlier sold at £129 for the 16GB version and £149 for the 32GB version.
10. Amazon Smartphone Will not be released this year or ever be free
Amazon spokes person confirmed that a smartphone wouldn’t be released this year but might launch one in the future. Also there were rumors that the phone would be a free buy, the spoke person also confirmed confirmed this.
