Pentax K-3 compact camera review

Pentax K-3 compact camera review

In the recent years we noticed the Pentax was developing products that seemed to fit entry-level photographers better. However, they changed the landscape by launching the all new Pentax K-3! The Pentax K-3 comes with a 24 mega-pixel camera, Wi-Fi Support, SDHC card, FLU and the ability to control your camera using a web browser.

You will be happy to know the camera comes with better anti-aliasing toggle. The anti-aliasing toggle allows you to pick between smoothness and raw detail without actually changing the camera itself. The camera also features 27-point auto focus system, 8 fps burst shooting and weighs around 28.2 oz. All these features and technologies are great for demanding photographers. Using the dual card slots you can easily record images and the wireless remote capture or transfer seamlessly!

The size of the camera is 3.94 x 5.17 x 3.05 in. The Pentax K-3 was designed to be ergonomic and as comfortable as possible in your hands. The imaging technology in the Pentax K-3 allows you to have more control over your shots and allows you to avoid the use of expensive lenses.

You will be able to transfer your images using a PC connected via the USB device or you may use the web browser to browse through your camera and get your shots that way as well.

Besides the technical features the Pentax K-3 is weather-resistant, and have moisture-tilt capabilities. So, you can be sure that all your shots will come out as expected.

The camera itself comes in two flavors. You can get the body only for $1,300 USD or if you would like the 135mm lens as well then it will cost you $1,700. It is rumored that you also will be able to purchase a 16 GB FLU card for around $100 USD.
