Cult BBC TV programme Dr Who is set to be broadcast simultaneously to at least 75 different countries tonight. Today, 23rd November, marks the 50th anniversary of the world’s longest running sci-fi series. In celebration of the milestone a 75-minute special entitled The Day of the Doctor will be shown to millions of fans around the world. The episode will feature the current doctor, Matt Smith, and his predecessor David Tennant as well as a few other familiar faces. The one-off special will be broadcast via BBC Worldwide to countries such as USA, Canada, Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya and Brazil amongst others. Will you be tuning in? Regardless of whether you are a fan or not I’m sure curiosity will get the best of most of us – well if it’s a toss-up between that and The X Factor I know which one I’ll choose…
