HTC have launched a new app so that fans of the UEFA Champions League and Europa League can stay up-to-date on all the action. It’s a shame that this app isn’t available on other phones - would save me from being forced by others to sit through Match of the Day or Sky Sports News ‘just to check the score’. I’m a fair weather football fan, as in unless it’s the World Cup or a major cup final then I’m not interested. Research however shows that technology is now a key part of the football experience, with up to 83% of fans using a second screen while watching the big game.
Features of the app include:
- News articles
- Latest standings
- Details on all upcoming matches
- A rolling live feed for each match, presenting key moments
- Detailed commentary
- Easily accessible information on all competing clubs and players
- Photography galleries
- Exclusive HTC promotions and competitions
Fans will also have the opportunity to give their suggestions and ideas for the app’s functions, which will be used to develop updates to make HTC FootballFeed the ultimate fan companion.
The HTC FootballFeed app can be downloaded from 10.08 am (GMT) on Tuesday 26th November from the Google Play store, free of charge.
