Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer is retiring in 12 months. He has said in a statement “There is never a perfect time for this type of transition, but now is the right time”. Ballmer will be staying in office until a successor has been found to replace him.

Instagram and Vine blacked out simultaneously yesterday for more than an hour. Their server Amazon Web services glitch caused the problem.

4. Sony Ps Vita Price drop
Sony announced at the German Gamescom 2013 show that they would be dropping the PS Vita price. The price of PS Vita Wi-Fi only version is dropping to either £127 or £170.
5. A KickStarter project APGNasm wants to promote animated PNG instead of GIF. The APNG is like a Gif expected it will be able to support a full Alpha and colour spectrum that creates cleaner and bright images than GIF.
