FOS led panel lights designed for movement
Fos LED display system is designed to help people stay visible, its is wearable and affordable. It contains a super-bright LED grid you can program through your phone, wirelessly.
Imagine the streets of London full of cyclist during rush hour or the dead of winter when its pitch black. It’s usually hard to see the riders unless they wear their reflective clothing. However accidents can still happen because light doesn’t always reflect normal garment. FOS LED is a project on KickStarter with is a new concept in visibility to help keep cyclist and bikers safe on the Road.
FOS is a Velcro®-lined fabric patch that contains a super-bright LED grid. The brightness of the FOS LED will keep you visibly to ride, run on the road. It has the ability to stream video that divers will notice. The FOS LED grid can be programmed using your Smartphone wireless to control what is streamed onto the patch.
You can use the app on your android Smartphone to send arbitrary video, graphics and text to the user’s body at any time, in real time because it will instantly becomes connected to any number of FOS units.
The patch feels like a normally fabric and is very light as it weighs less than a golf ball. FOS LED contains a custom embedded system that runs on a 32-bit microprocessor, flash memory, a sophisticated LED matrix driver and a very efficient power supply. The LED grid is really sturdy when flexed constantly because of the elements in it. It’s also water-resistant so that it can be used in the rain.
In addition the fabric is easy to apply because it has all the controls, circuitry and LEDs inside. The FOS can make large seamless design by tiling it horizontally and vertically. It doesn’t require any SD cards or thick wires.
FOS is asking for $200,000 on Kickstarter for mass production and so far have raised 22k with 12 days to go. We don’t think it will get the much needed funds by the end of project campaign.
