1. GTA V breaks records hitting $1 billion sales in 3 days


Grand Theft Auto V was released on September 17th on both the PS3 and Xbox 360 platforms.  The games earned $800 million on the first day of release. Then 3 days later it earned more than $1 billion according to Take-Two Interactive. Thus making it the fastest selling game beating out Call Of Duty: Black Ops who earned $ 1 billion 15 days after its release.

2. Ubuntu’s smartphone OS launching October 17th


While the Ubuntu Edge smartphone didn’t reach its crowdfunding target by a massive amount. Ubuntu has still decided to release its Ubuntu Touch operating system. The OS is still in testing and will be release on October 17th.



  3. Apple iPhone 5S fingerprint sensor hacked


Apple claimed that the iPhone 5S fingerprint sensor is “a convenient and highly secure way to access your phone.” However just days after the iPhone 5S launch, the German hackers known gas Chaos Computer Club (CCC) has successfully bypassed the biometric security of Apple’s fingerprint sensor.

4. LinkedIn sued for allegedly hacking users’ email contact lists


LinkedIn the popular job-recruiting site is been sued for hacking into their users email accounts. The user’s filed a complaint on Friday September 20th in the San Jose Federal court. The users are accusing LinkedIn of accessing their emails, contacts and send spam-like emails.

5. Robotic exoskeleton to be rolled out to the general public  by 2015


Yaskawa Electric a Japanese company is planning to sell the world’s first robotic exoskeleton to the mass market in 2015. The exoskeleton boot will measure the users heel pressure and then provide a bit of boost strength.

6. Apple store kids app section


Apple has final launched a kid’s app section in its app store. The kid’s section will allow the parent to select age appropriate games, education and entrainment apps for their kids.  The apps as been separated into ages 5 and under, 6-8 and 9-11 year olds. The store is only available in the US for now and hopefully will be released world wide soon.

7. LG Vu 3 offers 5.2 inch 4:3 aspect ratio displays


LG has unveiled a 5-inch 4:3 aspect ratio display smartphone dubbed the Vu 3. The Vu series will offer the some of the same hardware and feature of the LG G2 but with big screen.


BrdsNBz-PING


8. BrdsNBz a free texting service hotline for teens with sex health questions


New Mexico and North Carolina are teaming up to launch a free texting service called BrdsNBz. The texting service is targeted towards teens and parents who can text a sexual health question and get an answer in 24 hours.  The questions will be answered non judgmental and private response by health experts.

9. BBM for android and iOS suffers delays


With BlackBerry trying to sell its company over last few months people were looking forward to the release of the BBM on Android and iOS. However a version of the BlackBerry Messenger {BBM} was leaked over the weekend so BlackBerry has decided to delay the global roll out of the BBM.

10.  Apple breaks record by selling 9 million phones over the weekend


Apple iPhone 5S and 5C has broken the record for the fastest selling phone in just a few days by selling 9 million units. The phone sales exceeding apples expectation with phones flying of shelves like  speeding bullet.
