Nokia 2520 Tablet review

Nokia 2520 Tablet

After almost losing it all out in the mobile phone market, Nokia is back with a bang, with its latest offering, Nokia 2520 tablet.

This Windows RT 8.1 powered device, will impress you, as soon as you put your eyes over it. The tab continues Lumia’s superb designing legacy.

On the exterior, the tab boasts a micro-HDMI and a USB 3.0 port. Apart from that, the speakers have been embedded in the rear. Although it does give the overall look an advantage, but the sound gets depleted.

After the design, it’s the screen that’ll attract you. 2520’s screen has a full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, which looks stunning on a 10.1 inch screen. With Clearback Technology, the screen has been designed to provide you with a perfect and crisp display, even in broad daylight. It does means that the brightness of the device will remain at an all time high in daylight, but if Nokia’s to be believed, their latest customized firmware, intelligently controls the brightness, giving you a battery life of around 11-hours, at maximum brightness.

On the performance front, the tablet is powered by Qualcomm 8974 chipset running at 2.3GHz, packed with 2GB of RAM, making the already butter smooth experience of WP 8, even more delightful.

The connectivity features include:

  • 4G LTE

  • NFC

  • Wi-Fi Direct

Thus, the phone remains future proof!

The tab has a 6.7-megapixel Nokia PureView rear, and a 2MP front cam. The quality of the pictures is pretty decent.

2520’s “Power keyboard” accessory provides you with a physical keyboard, meanwhile extending the battery backup of the device by 5 hours!

Nokia 2520 is available at a price of $450.
